1. Installation specifications ‌
Preparation before installation ‌
Environmental requirements ‌: Ensure that the installation site is dry and well ventilated, the ambient temperature range is -25℃~+40℃, the relative humidity is ≤85% (at 20℃), and dust, corrosive gases and severe vibrations are avoided.

Transportation and acceptance ‌
During transportation, the tilt angle is ≤30°, and lifting equipment (such as forklifts and cranes) must be used to fix the four corners of the packaging box. Manual prying is prohibited. During acceptance, check the nameplate parameters (capacity, voltage level, connection group number, etc.), check that the appearance is not damaged, the coil is not cracked, and there is no debris inside.
Installation process ‌
Fix the foundation, use embedded bolts or welding to fix the transformer base, ensure that the horizontal error is ≤2mm/m, and the grounding resistance is ≤4Ω.
Wiring and insulation test ‌
The high-voltage side uses overhead insulated wires or cable side leads, and the low-voltage side copper busbar connection needs to be coated with conductive paste. The bolt torque is implemented according to the standard (such as M12 bolt torque is 45N·m). After installation, measure the winding insulation resistance (≥100MΩ, 2500V megohmmeter) and DC resistance (phase-to-phase deviation ≤2%).
Debugging and trial operation ‌
No-load test, measure the no-load loss and current after power-on, and the deviation from the factory value is ≤±10%; monitor the operating noise ≤55dB (1 meter away from the transformer). Debug the temperature control system, start the intelligent temperature controller, set the over-temperature alarm (default 130℃) and trip threshold (150℃), and test the automatic start and stop function of the fan.

2. Maintenance points ‌
Daily maintenance ‌
1. Operation monitoring ‌
Regularly record the three-phase current, voltage and temperature displayed by the temperature controller (normal temperature rise ≤100K), and check the load or heat dissipation problems when abnormal. Check the fasteners (once a year) to prevent the bolts from loosening due to vibration, and focus on checking the clamps and copper bar connections.
2. Cleaning and dust prevention ‌
Use dry compressed air or a soft brush to clean the dust on the surface of the coil to avoid blocking the heat dissipation airway; IP20 and above protection level equipment needs to clean the ventilation filter regularly.
3. Regular maintenance ‌
Insulation performance test, measure the insulation resistance of the winding once every 2 years (hot air drying is required when damp), and the partial discharge should be ≤5pC (professional equipment detection is required). Fan maintenance, check the operating status of the axial flow fan every six months, remove dust from the blades, lubricate the bearings (lithium-based grease is recommended), and replace damaged fans.
4. Troubleshooting‌
Overheat alarm, check whether it is overloaded, fan failure or heat dissipation channel blocked. In an emergency, the standby fan can be manually started. Partial discharge is abnormal. If the partial discharge exceeds the standard, check whether the resin casting is cracked or has bubbles, and contact the manufacturer for local repair or replacement of the coil.
III. Precautions‌
Safe operation. During maintenance, the power must be turned off and the electricity must be tested. The grounding wire must be hung on the high-voltage side; it is prohibited to remove the temperature controller or fan wiring with power on.
Environmental adaptability. In high-humidity environments such as offshore platforms and tunnels, additional dehumidification devices must be added to prevent condensation from affecting the insulation performance.
Through standardized installation and system maintenance, the SC(B) series transformers can guarantee a service life of more than 20 years and are suitable for power scenarios with high reliability requirements.
