This complete assembly accommodates Ring Main Unit and RMU Switchgear Cabinet, supporting flexible configuration of expandable modular Ring Main Unit alongside fully enclosed compact Inflatable Ring Main Unit. Functional bays for incoming feeders, outgoing feeders, metering, bus tie and circuit breakers can be freely combined in accordance with the primary single-line diagram. The unit can be integrated with FTU, RTU and relay protection devices to satisfy distribution automation requirements, deliver the “four remote” functions, and seamlessly align with intelligent distribution network development.

This Prefabricated Substation covers a broad spectrum of application scenarios and is widely adopted for power plants, utility grids, petrochemical, metallurgical, industrial and mining facilities, as well as urban infrastructure projects. It offers dependable power distribution safeguard for transformers, motors, generators and capacitor banks. Constructed from aluminum-zinc coated steel or stainless steel plate of ≥1.5 mm thickness, the enclosure exhibits superior corrosion resistance and achieves IP33 protection grade, with excellent rainproof and anti-theft capability. Its top cover adopts a double-layer air-gap structure, fitted with a ventilation-dust suppression system and drainage slope. Single or multiple SF₆ load switches are optional for the embedded RMU Switchgear Cabinet, supporting up to eight outgoing feeders. Surge arresters, fault indicators and current-limiting fuses can be tailored to project requirements for versatile wiring configurations. The Prefabricated Substation permits sectional isolation for maintenance without disrupting main grid operation, which minimizes the outage footprint.
